The Top Ten Horror Movies

Posted by the-boogeyman On October - 6 - 2009

By now you are wondering, where is the Authors picture?  The picture always accompanies the article. Well, I do have the picture of “The Boogeyman”, but I can’t publish it. I mean there is a reason that kids cringe at the mere mention of him.  I mean this dude is UGLY. I mean beyond butt ugly. As in so ugly, the doctor slapped his momma and daddy ugly. But, the sad thing is, once you get beyond the looks (Takes about 40 years, he is so damn butt ugly) he is really a nice guy. Just a victim of circumstance, and ugliness. Great sense of humor, wonderful family, just your regular ugly Joe. The kind of guy you wouldn’t mind having living next door to you guy. I mean, who wouldn’t want this type of neighbor. After all, what kid is going to cause any trouble on Mischieve Night in the neighborhood where The Boogeyman lives? So here it is, our first top ten from the man, the expert in his field, The Boogeyman. Okay, so he can’t count. Did I mention he is kind of dumb to?

What, no “Fright Night”? A classic. : )

When I created the list I said to myself I could make a Top 50 if I start including all my B movie classics and super-gore, as well. Like Motel Hell, Hellraiser, Phantasm, and Don’t Go In the Woods. But I think honorable mentions definitely could be Fright Night, My Bloody Valentine, and The Fog!

    Remember those?

Keep ‘em coming … I love talking about the classic horror movies – and not the so-called works of art like Psycho or The Birds!

    The Shining rocks. Red Rum!

The only movies that gave me nightmares… as a kid: Frankenstein, as an adult: Silence of The Lambs.

Silence of the Lambs isn’t really a horror movie, but I can understand why it would make your skin crawl!

I guess I’m the only one that can name the Boogeyman – ’cause the Boogeyman is me!
