The truly amazing thing about Bishop’s Orchards, and Jones Family Farms, is not what they are doing, but the fact that they are doing it. Both businesses have always been outstanding members of their community, and they don’t need to do anything more than they already do. My family and the Bishop family have known each other for many years, and I can tell you that we are very fortunate to have this family business here in town. they constantly improve their business, and the town benefits. And they don’t stop there. They have also served the town through there participation in the Guilford Rotary, and I cannot remember a year when there was not a Bishop on the Board of Selectman or Education. For many years, it was both.

I have dedicated this month on the site to be a month of giving, and it has been a great month. As we wind this month down, and really start the Holiday Season, it’s time for one last push. Both my daughters were at the Guilford VFW helping with the distribution of the food that was  donated, and as you can see, it is pretty amazing.  But, here is the sad thing. It’s not enough. I don’t have to tell you what a bad year it has been, as we all see the news. But, in many cases, it is thought that it isn’t on the Shoreline. That is absolutely not the case. We need to keep going, and we need to do it now.  We have 2 more days to help Bishop’s help others, and all you have to do is follow this link to Bishop’s Orchards, and become a fan. That’s it. And it will not cost you a cent. Nada, nothing, zero.  Please.
