Round One, Thanksgiving Weekend

edwin-bartlettIt’s all over this great state. And the best part of it is that you are not driving hours to get to any of these great events. The last thing I need to hear from anyone,is that there is nothing to do this weekend. You name it, and it’s happening, right here, and right now. So let’s go day by day, and see what’s up.

Tonite, the 25th, is the biggest bar night of the year. Everyone is home for the holidays, and the bars know it. The Eric Ducoff Band is at The Griswold Inn in Essex, The Taxmen are at The Aqua in Clinton, FU Jazz Boy is at The Cherry Street Restaurant in Wallingford, Redline is at The Cambridge Brew House Torri ngton, and The Forgotten Ones are at Cafe Nine in New Haven. Every one of these bands are going to really kick some ass tonite, but my bet is on The Forgotten Ones, as they are talented, and truly unique. They don’t get out as much as I would like, so take advantage of this if you are in New Haven.

Consider this your appetizer for what’s ahead. On Thursday, I will fill you in on the rest of the weekend, and starting next week, it’s all about the holidays, and Shoreline Out and About giving back to you. The best holiday events, and I have some very cool things to give to you….
