Youth Continuum Wine Tasting Fundraiser

Posted by Edwin Bartlett On November - 30 - 2009

RedWineTake some time Thursday, December 3rd to join the Youth Continuum at the Wine Press, 118 Quinnipiac Avenue in North Haven for a Wine Tasting and Wine Making Tour.

The Youth Continuum is an agency dedicated to helping homeless or at-risk youth as they come into adulthood, providing housing, life skills training, and outreach programs for ages 13 to 23. This Wine Tasting is one of the significant fundraisers for the organization, and much planning has gone into making it a very unique experience.

The staff at The Wine Press embodies generations of wine-making expertise and provides an opportunity for anyone to be their own vintner. You learn to crush, press, rack, and bottle your very own barrel of wine, which you then can enjoy for months to come.

The Wine Tasting and Wine Making Tour runs from 5:30 to 8 pm on December 3rd and includes a Silent Auction. Tickets are $45 for the tasting, $100 for the tasting and tour, and $250 for the tasting, tour, and special Champagne tasting and complimentary bottle of wine. Visit http://www.youthcontinuum.org for more information, silent auction items, and to purchase tickets online.
