The American Red Cross Seeks Community Heroes

arclogoThe Connecticut Chapter of the American Red Cross will be honoring men, women and youth from across Connecticut whose extraordinary acts of courage and kindness make them local heroes. We will salute them during March, 2010 at our Community Heroes Breakfast Celebrations. ( March is Red Cross Month).  There will be four Hero Breakfast Celebrations:

March 4 – at the Farmington Marriott for Northern and Eastern Connecticut

March 11 – at the Omni Hotel for Greater New Haven

March 19 – at the Amber Room Colonade for Western Connecticut

March 25 – at the Trumbull Marriott for Lower Fairfield County

Proceeds from the event will benefit your Connecticut Chapter’s many programs and services.  These include disaster relief and preparedness; community health and safety education; blood services; services to the armed forces and international social services.

If you know anyone that works for or lives in any of our communities that you feel should be nominated, please do so!  All nominations need to be completed by December 31, 2009 and should be sent to:
