So, as we draw this year, and this decade to a close, just a few thoughts on my part. What started as an idea, has come to fruition. The past 6 months have been pretty insane for me, trying to get a feel for a new profession, trying to put my finger on the pulse of this whole Social Media thing.

Based on your support, we have succeeded in many ways.  Since we launched on September 18th, we have had over 100,000 page views. We must be doing something right. But that is not enough. What I envision is a social networking site that does more than give you a place to “post” a thought. What we are doing is more than that. We have created a site that has  social networking, a site that has content for you t0 enjoy, from 36 writers, with more coming on board. What we have is a site that has over 300 events at anytime, just waiting for it’s turn to come on to the landing page. Not too shabby for a neophyte.

But what we are going to do, is to take all that we have accomplished, and make it bigger and better. We are going to be releasing more features over the next 60 days. Features that will blow you away. I am going to get more advertisers so that I can convert that into more discounts for things that you want to do. I am going to use the power of our numbers to coordinate events for the members. Not just happy hours, but anything and everything that will be fun to do, and an opportunity for all of you to get out, and get social, and not go broke doing it. I believe that Social Media can be taken in a different direction. I believe that we can use the computer to network, and then use this computer to get out, and have fun.
