Last week we had the honor of speaking to the Branford Chamber of Commerce on the topic of Social Media. By far, the most questions people had were about Twitter. We tried to emphasize that there’s no “correct” way to use it, that it’s just a tool; it’s about being creative and using that tool to extend your reach into the community. As luck would have it, Annie & Matt of WTNH’s Good Morning Connecticut chose our Twitter account as someone worth following. What made it more gratifying was that we had no idea this was going to happen, so an unsolicited recommendation becomes that much more valuable to us.
