Saturday morning, it was raining. It was dark. It was 6:30am. A perfect morning to just stay in bed. Instead of sleeping in, we found ourselves in the WTNH news room, waiting to do a segment with Ted Koppy on Good Morning Connecticut.

Since we arrived WAY too early, we had some time to kill, so we started wandering around. It’s so strange to be in an empty newsroom – I’ve been there before during live breaking news, and it’s usually a beehive of activity. This time, it was just us, and we were totally unsupervised – people should know better than to  let us off our leashes, especially when we’re bored. Here’s a few pictures of Ed on various sets throughout WTNH (click on them to view a larger image):

Again, just for the record, we were unsupervised, so this is how we entertained ourselves.

Regardless, Matt Scott and Ted Koppy were a blast to hang out with, and we had a great segment which you can watch below. So, what do you think? Should they have us back again? Watch the clip, post a comment, tell us what you think:

KUDOS ! So proud of you guys ! You came across very competently. ctoutandabout should be a regular feature – - is there a Thursday or Friday segment so viewers can get a “planner’s preview” of what’s upcoming on the weekends?

I finally was able to watch the video and I am so pleased for you and extremely impressed with how you interviewed. Both of you speak and express yourselves so well and clearly explained the website’s purpose. Congratulations and I intend to stay strong onboard with you.
