Saturday Morning Ed had the opportunity to talk with Matt Scott about the upcoming VetsFest 2010. Everyone at Shoreline Out and About, and VetsFest 2010 would like to thank Channel 8 for their support on this awesome fundraiser. There will be 7 bands playing, a Touch-A -Truck event featuring Della Rocca racing, A & W Construction, and more. The event will be at Martin Bishop Field on Long Hill Road in Guilford on July 24th, and goes from noon until 10PM. There will be food and vendors, and admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students, under 13 free. If you are active duty military, National Guard, or a veteran, either in Uniform, or with proper ID, you will be our guests.
Here’s the link to the WTNH segment.
Over the next two weeks, we will have an artists spotlight on all the bands that will be playing, and updates on all the real cool prizes we have in the drawing. How about starting off with a nice 2 or 3 night cruise on Carnival Cruise lines?
And just for your info, here ‘s a video that shows what I did in the Marines a few (okay a lot more than a few) years ago. A majority of this was filmed at my old stomping grounds, Camp Pendleton
If any of you Vets out there have any stories, videos or photography that you want to share, send them to me so that we can share what we have done in service to our country, and why we are all proud to have served.
